Bringing an Open Kitchen Down to Size

By combining efficiency and flair, a designer cleverly creates a tailor made kitchen for mother and son to share. In this kitchen remodeling project, designer splits the space into two private wings joined by a communal kitchen and living area.

    Our goal was to keep our kitchen remodeling down to only 10K. Not an easy task. By allowing our island to be multi-purpose, it made it a little easier.

    I’ve always told my husband that proper layout of the kitchen should fit our lifestyle. We love to cook together and therefore we need ample room to do so.

    The hearth of a home is the kitchen. There are enough professionals that agree a well lit kitchen will cheer up and inspire people. This is an excellent example of this.
